Like, let's be real… 99% of NHL players are straight and probably homophobic too. Trying to date or hook up with another player would be super dangerous for the small percentage who are not. The actual gay players are dating normal guys who aren't involved in hockey at all, and even those guys are getting sent to play in Europe if they publicly come out unless they're smart enough to time their coming out at the same time as winning the Stanley Cup

They got a lot of extra viewers from putting Roz and Shane on the same team as opposed to their usual marketing strat of making them rivals, so they decided to do it again lol. Also, it's convenient as a way to insert Pike into the mix too, as he's now randomly super popular (does anyone know how this happened?? It was like people started giving a shit about him overnight, and I know it's not because he did something impressive on ice). However, Pike is a million times worse and does not even deserve to be in the same room as Hollander. Unfortunately, fate is cruel, and they have somehow ended up on the same flop team. They're ice dancers, and they won gold at the 2010 Olympics & silver at the 2014 Olympics (which they totally should've won gold but I digress…). Pls go watch some of their programs!! They're both amazing
