Your step-mom buying you a boyband had not been on your bingo card for this year.
“Isn’t this human trafficking?” you asked. “You’re all law enforcement, shouldn’t you be concerned about how legal this is?”
“That’s just the thing, Fraulein,” said the Klavier Gavin. “Through a loophole in Japanafornian laws, this is perfectly legal. Not human trafficking in general, luckily, but this specific scenario of buying a boyband for your step-daughter.”
“Well that’s dumb,” you sighed. “I didn’t even ask her to do this. So are you guys going to be living with me now?”
Klavier shrugged. “Up to you.”
