should i (24F) break up with my boyfriend (20sM) of <1 year so that he can date his husband/my best friend (24M)?
i have been dating a man, let's call him jelly, for a little less than a year. he's from canada and for visa reasons, had to get married to stay in the states. i originally proposed but got cold feet the day of the wedding, so he ended up marrying my college best friend, let's call him evan
we all live together in a house, 5 roomies total, and that night we went home and ate cake to celebrate their 💕 union 💕. i realized jelly and evan never kissed at the alter, so my other roomies and i peer pressured them into smooching. except—it was Deeply charged. sexually and romantically. it only lasted a couple seconds but if my other roomies and i hadn't been in the room they totally would've kept going
it's very much been one of those hindsight is 20/20 moments cuz looking back at their relationship, i can see how close they've gotten. and YEAH i was upset and still am a little, but their chemistry is SO GOOD and if im being honest with myself, they're also more compatible as long-term partners. so after some deep thought and reflection, i think i should break up with jelly. but my other roomies think i'm jumping the gun, "just because people have chemistry doesn't mean they should date."

semantic error - a good student gets involved with a player who wont leave him alone and does everything he can to annoy him and be by his side as revenge (you'll see). except they both end up falling for each other xD... jang jaeyoung is one of my fav love interests ever, he's so charming <3

Here U Are - two university students: one is openly gay while the other is a freshman who always believed himself to be straight. the "straight" freshman ends up falling for our gay ml and pursues him but our gay ml has a lot of internalized shame due to his family and how other people assume things about him. he constantly pushes mc away and says “youre not like me you can have a family and get married,” it ends happy tho i promise :)

my other roommates and i (mostly i) have devised the perfect scheme to get jelly and evan together. there's a restaurant that i've been telling jelly i want to eat at for a while so he booked a reservation for our upcoming anniversary. there's outdoor seating along the same route evan walks home from work so i'm not gonna show up and he will take my place. the inherently romantic setting will unlock vulnerability within both of them and give them the courage to admit their true feelings

You said you've reflected but your post doesn't actually answer the most fundamental questions raised by this situation:
1. Do you still want to date Jelly? Unrelated to Jelly and Evan's chemistry.
2. Have you asked Jelly or Evan if they are interested in dating each other?
3. Would you be comfortable living with them if they were a couple?
If your answer to the first one is "no," I think you need to sit down and have a discussion with Jelly and Evan individually, then maybe another all together.
