Summary
Akira’s third eye is useful in moderation, but it's the ‘in moderation’ part that he keeps forgetting about. With his growing list of responsibilities, and their first Palace deadline approaching, it's hard not to use every tool at his disposal to make life a bit easier. A headache or two, stress-induced or otherwise, is a small price to pay for the benefit of his team.
Until it isn't.Series

Summary
The lower levels in Mementos seem to cause more issues for the Phantom Thieves with every floor they tackle. The Shadows are stronger, the requests take longer, and each battle gets harder to shake. An ambush from the Reaper adds another complication to the mix: strengthened status ailments. Unfortunately, mental ailments often take longer to pick up on, especially when none of the Phantom Thieves have dealt with them lasting outside of the Metaverse. The worst part is that their leader can't remember if he's mentioned that something's wrong.
Or: Akira is hit with a stronger, longer-lasting version of the Forget ailment. After a curative, he recovers, the Phantom Thieves leave Mementos, and everything seems fine. Things fall apart soon after that.

Summary
Akira would be the first to admit that he’s heavily reliant on his third eye inside and outside of the Metaverse, even with the headaches, the migraines, and all that comes with them. As the Phantom Thieves stumble through one rigged game after the next, in a never-ending Casino practically designed to trip them up, Akira knows that he’s dangerously close to his limit. But there’s only one way they’ll get through the latest trick - an endless line of rooms shrouded in constant, Shadow-filled darkness – and he knows there’s no other choice. Either he manages a horrific migraine, or his teammates might die. It’s an easy decision.
It's a surprise when pushing himself past his limits to finish the maze blinds him as he’s reaching the exit.
Or: Even when he’s armed with a tool that costs more with each use, Akira can’t stop overworking himself.

Summary
Akira isn't coping in the days following his interrogation. His friends have noticed. While he's eager to return to Palace infiltration as soon as possible, the Phantom Thieves decide to take matters into their own hands. If he won't take care of himself, then his teammates will step up. One way or another, their leader will slow down and take a break. He deserves that much.
(The Palace deadline, however, looms ever closer, whether Akira rests, or doesn't.)
Sequel to Drawing Thin, Drawing Dead.

Summary
The attic above Leblanc was never meant to be used as anything other than a storage space. When it was built, it wasn't insulated enough for someone to live in, especially not during the winter. This is something that Sojiro fails to consider when it starts snowing in Tokyo, and Akira isn't prepared for the cold.
