Summary
Harry haven’t finished packing. It had just seemed too good to be true, when he’d read Dumbledore’s letter, the prospect of leaving Privet Drive again after merely a fortnight!
Of course, he didn’t know what this safe house would be like, and with whom he’d share it, if anyone, maybe it would turn out to be even worse than staying with the Dursleys, although he’d sincerely doubted it. Still, he hadn’t been able to entirely shrug off the feeling that something was going to go wrong – whether it’d be that his reply to Dumbledore’s letter would somehow go astray, or this Professor be held up and unable to come, or worse still: the whole thing might even be a trap.
AU:HBP - Dumbledore does send Harry a letter telling him that he'll be leaving Privet Drive early, however it isn't Dumbledore who will show up and it isn't The Burrow that Harry will spend the remainder of his summer...
And as this fic has really taken me for a ride, this will continue into DH as well (not Epilogue compliant!)

Summary
Sirius doesn't go after Peter Pettigrew on the night that Voldemort kills the Potters, but stays to look after Harry... This means that he is never wrongly accused and incarcerated for the murder of Lily and James, and instead he and Remus Lupin raise Harry as their own.
When it finally becomes time for Harry to start his education at Hogwarts, he has no reason to tell the Sorting Hat not to place him in Slytherin, so he is Sorted into Slytherin and becomes best friends (and later on, more than friends) with Draco.

Has just lost Sirius, been possessed by Voldemort and sent back to Hogwarts with a Portkey and a promise from Dumbledore that he’ll join him in half an hour, he travels through time and space……and ends up back inside the Department of Mysteries instead of Dumbledore’s office.

Summary
To say that Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts had turned out to be the most eventful to date is, despite past run-ins with giant spiders, basilisks, dragons and Voldemort himself, actually an understatement. As if breaking into the High Inquisitor's office to illegally floo into the Ministry of Magic and break inside the Department of Mysteries, only to be surrounded by Death Eaters, wasn't enough... Harry's whole world was literally turned upside-down when suddenly found himself in the wrong universe.

Summary
Hermione has been very uninterested in analysing Draco’s behaviour with Harry all year, but Ron didn’t start ignoring him until very recently. But now whenever Harry tries to voice one of his theories, the other boy just gives him a look and changes the subject. It’s infuriating.

This is a companion fic to 'Nearly', 'Parallel' and 'The Other Parallel' - currently it's a oneshot sneak peek into what's been happening with the Harry and Draco in the (previously Canon) parallel reality, now also diverged from Canon since the two Harrys swapped places briefly, causing another ripple effect - but might continue it in the future after I have finished the original AU story in 'Next' and its planned sequel.
