“I just did a minute back,” Hirano mutters, raising an eyebrow, the blush already visible on his cheeks turning a shade darker.
Kagiura pouts. “Say it again,” he pleads, “hearing it twice isn’t enough.”
“Twice in the span of ten minutes is plenty,” the older retorts though his words hold no bite.

Hirano sighs. “Exactly what am I supposed to do with you?” He mutters with so much fondness that it should be illegal, giving Kagiura’s hair another affectionate ruffle.
“Spoil me.” Kagiura suggests, as if it were the obvious answer, a shameless grin forming on his face.

Summary
Snapping his head up, Hirano sees Kagiura grinning down at him, dark jade eyes glimmering with amusement and fondness. “Wanna try that again?” The younger asks, tilting his head to the side.
A pale pink color spreads rapidly across the blonde’s cheeks and neck. “Gladly,” he murmurs, resting his head on Kagiura’s chest, practically able to hear the taller’s heart beating, feeling his own heart race in response.

Summary
Despite himself and his desire to leave the confines of the bed, the corners of Hirano’s lips curve upwards. “Kagi-kun,” he tries again, “I need to get out of bed. Let me go.”
He feels the strands of the younger’s hair tickle the back of his neck—an obvious act of refusal. “It’s five a.m,” he groans, managing to playfully elbow the taller boy in the chest. “Time to wake up.”
It only makes Kagiura pull him closer until there really is no way for him to leave.

Summary
“Hirano-san?” The taller boy asks, a hint of concern in his voice while a faint heat creeps up his neck and across his face. Despite being lovers, physical contact initiated by the blonde still catches him by surprise.
“Mmm…” The blonde hums, sending vibrations through the younger’s body. “Lemme recharge,”
“Recharge?” Kagiura echoes in confusion. Hirano doesn’t offer any further clarification, tightening his hold around the taller boy.
It takes the younger a few seconds for the realization to settle in.

“It’s been years since I last came to a skating rink,” Ena muttered, bracing a hand on the barrier. She turned around, a pout on her face, and said, “don’t you dare laugh if I fall.”
Airi swallowed the chuckle threatening to escape the confines of her mouth, settling on nodding and giving a thumbs up.
Ena then gingerly made her way onto the ice before promptly tripping over her skates and falling onto the smooth, cold surface; her hands reflexively being planted on top of the pale blue expanse protected her face from being smashed into the thick ice.

Aizo’s eyebrows furrow. “Your idiot,” he corrects with a cheeky grin. “If I could get enough of you, I wouldn’t be—” he leans in closer, breath ghosting over Yujiro’s mouth. “—kissing you like this every chance I get, would I?” His lips close over Yujiro’s, biting and tugging gently before sliding his tongue inside.

Summary
“Ohii-san,” Jun’s voice breaks through Hiyori’s thoughts. “You’re definitely not fine.” The navy-blue-haired boy decides, “but it’s okay. I’m here, I’ve got you.” Gently, as if he were revering his god—his universe—he squeezes Hiyori’s hands.
With the gentleness contained in those words and that action, Hiyori feels as if Jun was tearing open his heart, thread by thread, while simultaneously bearing all of the world’s kindness.
And Hiyori is painfully reminded that, in this world, there was someone who saw him, with all of his glamour and imperfections and radiance and negativity, and accepted everything.

“I’m hard to love.” He says, but he doesn’t want Yuuji to stop loving him—he knows Yuuji wouldn’t—he wants to continue being selfish and claim the pink haired boy’s love for himself. His thumbs brush gently against Yuuji’s scars, and Megumi doesn’t need to look in a mirror to know that he’s gazing at his lover with reverence, with all of the love he’s capable of, like Yuuji is sunlight and flecks of happiness gathered into one.
Yuuji, with a lot of care, holds Megumi’s wrist without applying pressure. “What’s hard about it when it’s the easiest thing I’ve done?” He laughs, and it's as if he had reached into the depths of Megumi’s rib-cage, pried his heart from its place and replaced it with the sun. “I’d fall in love with you again and again, and I’d never get tired of it—loving someone as cool as you.”

Summary
Yamada Akirako.
Hirano doesn’t like how similar the girl’s name is to Kagiura’s.
He inhales deeply, trying to clear his head. There’s no point in thinking about her; she was a piece in Kagiura’s past and therefore had no connection to Hirano.
Still. Something doesn’t sit right with the blonde, and so, he waits, hidden behind the wall for Kagiura to show up. Though, from the brief exchange he had the pleasure to witness, he could tell that their relationship was amicable, and that purely of friends.
Logically, Hirano knows there’s nothing for him to worry about; he and Kagiura had sorted out their feelings, and given their relationship a label: lovers. Everything is fine.
Predictably, everything is not fine.

Carefully, the brown haired boy pushed himself up just enough to hover over Hirano, a gap of mere centimeters between their faces. “Hi,” Kagiura said shyly, his heart beginning to overflow with endearment and affinity towards his lover.
“Hi—” Hirano breaks off into a yawn. “Hi yourself.” He brought a hand to affectionately ruffle Kagiura’s hair, before resting it on the back of the taller boy’s neck.
“I’m going to kiss you now.” Kagiura said, smiling slightly as he moved in closer.
“Okay,” Hirano shut his eyes as he felt Kagiura’s lips on his own, the cool, familiar taste of melon soda bursting inside his mouth.
