“Don’t be,” Shoto says in return, brushing the pad of his thumb across the back of Midoriya’s hand. He isn’t smiling but the shorter can tell that his words are genuine.
“Besides,” the taller adds, “it’s not every day that a cute guy shows up out of the blue and tells you he’s your boyfriend now.” The words flow easily from his mouth, as if he’s unaware of what he’s doing to Midoriya’s heart. “I think I’d be pretty stupid to pass up this opportunity.”

Suo had been the one to answer. “No, nothing’s wrong.” The smile on his face was gentle, regarding the younger with a slightly fond expression. “I suppose I’ll just have to show you how pretty Sakura really can be.”
