Why would you bring a gun into our studio space, Nick?” Adam can play high-strung, and it comes easily to him - the high, tremulous pitch to his voice, the flapping hands. Nick stands still, eyes trained on the gun like it might come to life and shoot him in the chest. Adam gets a flash of inspiration, then. “Is it loaded?”
It’s a great question, a great elaboration; Adam’s high school theater teacher would be proud of him.
“Yeah.” Nick says, his voice barely above a whisper. “I think it is.”
