“Yeah, of course!” Tommy said half-heartedly. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to do The Lightning Thief. It was just that Percy Jackson had been one of his dream roles. But thanks to his stage fright he had been unable to do theatre. Now he was content to just sit on the sidelines. Or at least, he was pretty sure he was content.
Shelby nodded in response, noting Tommy’s reaction. Then she stared off into the distance, looking like an idea was forming inside her head. Then she abruptly spoke and ran off. “I need to go talk to Mr. Dream about something, and then go read the script. Buh bye!”

It's Tommy's second year of being in tech and third year in high school. He loves everything about technical theater, but a part of him still longs to be on the stage. If only it weren't for his very prevalent stage fright.
