Lambert is seriously injured on a political visit gone wrong. Jan helps to find shared rooms because there is NO way that the four of them (Aiden, Aleksander, Lambert, and Milena) will be apart again, except for on Witcher Business.
In which Jan helps with the acquisition of shared rooms, because as it turns out, the unwillingness to be parted is compounded four fold. Aiden can’t sleep without knowing Lambert is close. Aleksander can’t help but see Lambert’s blood on his hands when he closes his eyes, and Milena has just had entirely too much stress to handle in the last few days. If she was a proper Lady, she would swoon, but as it is, she just wants to stab something. She’s spending entirely too much time in the company of her now-legal husband.

After the conquest of Redania, Aleksander of Velen comes to Kaer Morhen. He's not sure what his place is there - or even if he truly has a place - and the culture of the keep comes as a great shock. But he has nowhere else to go, and with luck, friends, and the help of a very handsome Cat, maybe he will be able to make himself at home. He hopes. All he needs to do is not offend anyone or reveal his shameful weakness, right?
Aiden of the Cats has no idea why the keep's new nobleman is so fascinating, but he's definitely not going to pass up any opportunity to find out. If only Aleksander would trust him enough to share his burdens.
And Aren of the Manticores and his four Mantikittens are slowly adjusting to the idea of being in a place of safety at last.

Inspired by the Accidental Warlord AU (AWAU).
Aster is a runaway teen from Skellige who travels all the way to Kaer Morhen to try and become a witcher. She's escaping her religious extremist family who worship the Eternal Flame, a cult hellbent on killing non-humans including mages and witchers. It turns out she may have a little magic ability. She's also secretly a girl in the body of a boy, which her family would also disapprove of. She's heard stories about the White Wolf's laws and wants to be a part of it instead of her family's hatred.
This is a story about one of my OC's that insists that she needs to become a witcher. This story features a lot of shenanigans, chaotic bisexuality, edgy teen angst, trauma healing, an attack swan familiar, goose tricks, stabbing as a form of communication, found queer family, and slow burn romance. I'm a transfem author who wants more transfem representation out there, dammit!
