The low pitch of Evelynn's voice makes her shudder, makes her tense, makes her simmer like a low fire; fed with fuel with every word, every rasp, every smug smirk Evelynn throws her way. "But I'm sitting on it now. It's mine. And you're on your knees — so pretty, so obedient for me. Tell me, what does that mean for you?"
Akali swallows dryly, heart pounding at the admission. "That I'm yours."
"Yes, and you're mine to do what with?"
"Anything," she says, breathless as a clawed thumb traces the shape of her lips, "Everything. Whatever you want."

"You're the one who always disappears," Akali says, eyes sweeping up to pin Evelynn with a look and it's dark. It's dark and dilated and it licks across Evelynn's skin like a spotlight. "So tell me to leave. Tell me to leave and I will."
Evelynn can't, she doesn't want to, not when everything's pointing to Akali wanting this as much as she does. She can't do that, why on earth would she even want to?
(She wholly ignores the little voice at the back of her head warning her that she might get hurt if this ends up being just about spending their cycles together, puts it in a box in the recesses of her consciousness, and throws away the key.
That's a problem for future Evelynn, and she's just so good at ignoring her problems.)
"I don't want you to leave," she says, breath hitching in anticipation when Akali's eyelashes flutter. "I can't ask that."

Evelynn has been spending her heat alone ever since she met Akali. This one is supposed to be no different. Ahri and Kai'sa are on vacation, Akali's an entire ocean away, and Evelynn has the K/DA house to herself — until Akali comes home early and completely fucks up her plans.

She crossed her arms over her chest and wondered if there were any other people in her shoes, facing her particular predicament at the moment. She buried her nose in the collar of her hoodie, where Akali’s scent instantly washed over her—sweet caramel and a warm sugary cinnamon spice on a summer day with a hint of wildflowers—it never failed to calm her down, loosening the tension in her body until Kai’Sa felt refreshed and renewed.
Now, Kai’Sa thought, when would be a good time to ask Akali?

Summary
Everybody is too busy, too distracted by Akali's presence, to notice the haze of shadow circling them like a predator. It's dark enough in the club that she blends in and lies in wait, watches as the little Omega preens and shuffles closer, eyes glued on her prize.
In all honesty, Evelynn can't blame her. Akali's a vision in a black sports bra, satin bomber jacket, and black joggers; it almost distracts her, almost, but then the girl laughs again and reaches forward.
Not on her watch, though.

Summary
During the years of the Noxian Invasion of Ionia before the Institute of War and the League were established, daring Betas and Fellow Ionian Resistance members Irelia and Akali undertake an important mission. Their task: Infiltrating a small village under Noxian occupation to carry out an assassination mission on a Notorious Noxian Commander. Eager to prove themselves and deal a blow to the Noxian war machine the two women disguise themselves as non-combatant villagers, finding work in the inn the Noxian Commander and her soldiers are based at, biding their time to strike when least expected. Not knowing that they are biting more than they can chew.
PS: I am so proud of myself. I wrote an actual summary this time that isn't uninformative or just a meme.
