Summary
Three years have passed since The Titans awoke from hibernation and settled back into The Demon Realm. During this time, the realm's other inhabitants have gradually learned to accept these colossal creatures as a part of their reality and haven't had any problems sharing their home with them since these mighty forces of nature have chosen to remain dormant since Ghidorah's demise.
However when Godzilla, who hasn't been seen since Ghidorah's defeat, suddenly reappears and wreaks havoc across The Boiling Isles, the already fragile peace between witches and monsters is thrown into jeopardy. With their world and their very own survival at stake, Eda is forced to take drastic actions after becoming convinced that Kong may be their best chance to stop Godzilla.
Meanwhile, Luz and her friends are unexpectedly thrown on a perilous journey to prove Godzilla's innocence and reveal the true threat that has been provoking all of the alpha Titan's recent attacks.

It was a frenzied period of transition for everyone in the Boiling Isles. Belos was dead, the Day of Unity crisis was averted, and everyone managed to endure the Collector's survival games . The Isles were teeming with new life after the conflict, courtesy of the new Empress. Under her rule, magic was no longer restricted and witches were free to pursue any types they wished.
Eight years after the fall of Belos, the Owl House disappeared, its inhabitants nowhere to be found, save two.
Ten years since she first set foot in the Demon Realm, Luz Noceda has settled in the city of Caja Torácica, having married her longtime girlfriend, Amity Blight. They have no idea what became of their surrogate family, but they'll never give up trying to find them. They've begun a new chapter in their lives in the self-employ of Noceda Bounty Hunting and General Services. Luz and Amity Noceda had thought their adventuring days were behind them, but with new career opportunities, encounters with beings from another Titan, corporate espionage, a looming confrontation with the notorious Owl Lady and the prospect of starting a new family, they'll be in for their wildest years yet.

Summary
Luz meant to hold the portal door open for long enough that the others could escape, and then maybe try and run into it after. She meant to do a lot of things. She didn't mean to knock a table of papers over while fighting Belos, and she certainly didn't mean to step on them while holding the portal together. And as the world went dark again, at least she got to say goodbye to her loved ones.
Amity Blight had a horrible few days, really they all did. And now they were stranded in the Human Realm where the one person who had been there before (that she trusted) was gone. Was dead. Petrification was forever, and Luz was gone. Fortunately, Luz had told her the way to her mom's house a thousand times, so she could at least find shelter for her and her companions. But could she tell her love's mom what happened? Or would she (and her comrades) be able to keep lying until they got back?
Camila was having a quiet night all things considered when suddenly a strange knock was heard on the door.

Candescence, noun: The quality of emitting light or glowing.
Luz isn't doing too hot in the wake of the Day of Unity. The Isles were an amazing distraction, a dream come true- an escape from the isolation, the ridicule, the shame that clung to her in the human realm. How will she handle it when that dream becomes a nightmare, and she's ejected back into that mundane world she ran away from? Sure, she's got her friends with her this time, and the knowledge that there really is magic out there- but it came with a heaping helping of trauma as well.
An exploration of Luz's mental state in the gap between seasons 2 and 3 with a darker tone than the show could permit, given its target demographic.
