In the main Timeline, Mario discovers Doopliss’ name, finds the missing letter, and beats him to get his identity back. In this one, he doesn’t, and the fiend completely steals Mario’s identity, achievements, friends, loved ones, and everything else. Left alone with only one friend by his side, Mario fights to survive with no identity, in a world in which the imposter is hailed for somehow still defeating the Shadow Queen, at least until someone approaches, offering a path forward and revenge.

"What do you MEAN "guard" I can't do tha-" Doopliss cut himself off as he realized "WAIT I'M MARIO YES I CAN"
He proceeded to run at Mario and jump on him (and failed the action command because he sucks)
Goombella then did an egregiously high damaging multibonk
"Show off..." Doopliss muttered.
"What was that Mario" Goombella asked
"UH- WOOHOO I LIKE-A DA LASAGNA"
Mario ran at Doopliss and jumped on him, and Doopliss failed both guards
"MARIO! Do you need another tutorial?! You were even superguarding up till this point!" Goombella outbursted.
"I don't need a TUTORIAL! I'm SUPER MARIO!" Doopliss snapped.
"Then press A when those shadow things hit you!"
"What do you mean A-'
A controller appeared in Doopliss' hands
"what the fuck-"
Vivian punched Goombella in the face
"YOU FAILED THAT GUARD TOO?" Goombella yelled
