Subaru is born in the world of clair obscur expedition 33 while he was living as good of a life as he could, until suddenly 1 day, his parents disappear Because he knows the gommage will come for his parents within the next few years. He decides to go on an expedition to either figure out what happened to his parents or possibly, save them form said fate If they're still alive. But things don't go as planned. He gets separated from his expedition group and is forced to live By himself, for a few years trying to find another expedition. Until one day he stumbles upon expedition, 33 subaru continues his journey with them until 1 day. He is forced to make a decision to save one of his close allies from dying from renoir attack by taking the attack for them. And at his last moments, he blinks, and the world is completely different from where he was a few seconds ago as a strange sense of deja vu settles over him.

Now a half-elf/human chimera, Subaru has a heart to heart with a voice and determines to become a new version of himself, Janus. Follow his journey in his new world and with a different set of abilities!
