In a cyberpunk Metal Gear future (the canon continuation of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance), Solid Snake has been cybernetically enhanced after being awakened from an induced coma to survive his advanced aging. The world is being ravaged by the continued war between transhuman PMCs, the corrupt global elites' exploitation of the working class, and global climate change. Solid Snake-- now "Cyber Snake"-- has been called out of retirement to stop a catastrophic global threat-- a Metal Gear capable of wiping out all life on Earth. But worse than that, he has no choice but to fight against the iconic characters of the series that he used to call friends.
This is the revised version of Metal Gear Solid 6: The Infernal Conflict.

“Someone has to pull their attention away,” Kaminari said turning as he unhooked the harness he’d been wearing and smoothed back his hair and moved the tail. “I tend to do that,” He winked and gave a two finger salute as electricity crackled and lit up his body along the grooves in a neon yellow before he leaned back and began a free-fall headfirst towards the ground along the building, body shimmering out of existence save the metal along his arms that was still racing electricity along it.
“Stealth my ass,” Bakugo grumbled as Sero watched with rapt attention during the immediate descent towards the ground. He just caught a glimpse of a shimmering figure flipping through the air and a thin bright line of yellow shot towards one of the windows just halfway down the building, three stories below the current hostages. The window shattered and Sero watched as their Major flew into the building.
