His resistance cost him his job, but he went on to write Substack pieces questioning the industry and defending Elsa's privacy. He rebuilt himself with an indie podcast and thoughtful celebrity memoirs that caught her attention. A collaboration between the two resulted in the publication of her own memoir and the development of a bond neither named. Now living an ocean apart, they've chosen to remain tight-lipped, but a reunion in Norway might shatter their glass walls.
