Summary
Oz is not what it once was, and the magic its citizens were so proud of has become rare. Yet, it was still as technologically developed and more progressive as any other part of both worlds. Animals were still living peacefully and normally among humans.
At Shiz University, young Elphaba Thropp faces the many challenges of being her green self. Somehow ashamed of her sickly coloration, she finds a refuge in her books and History studies.
Galinda Upland loves her University life. She has so many friends, goes out to party and has a seemingly perfect relationship with Fiyero, even though she feels the urge for something different that she finds quite impossible to describe.
When those two very different girls meet unexpectedly as colleagues at Ozian History class, they feel a connection both of them are not able to run away from. Wherever one may go, they'll meet. And even if they try to escape from this fate, they won't be able to - it's like a connection from a past lifetime.

Summary
A retelling of Wicked that utilizes the film/musical's story and characters, while also incorporating certain topics and elements from the novel that didn't make it into the stage show. The book contains such interesting ideas, characters, and themes, and I want to explore them with the musical's setting in this in-depth analysis of its characters and their dynamics. A heavy focus on Elphaba, Galinda, and (eventually) Fiyero.
Will eventually become very Thropple oriented, but I won't tag it as such (or as Galinda/Fiyero or Elphaba/Fiyero) until I bring him into the mix directly as to not mistag before he comes into the story.
As of November 2025, I hope to update this story soon.
