The yard was full of the usual excited chatter that always preceded a race. Everyone choosing racers to root for, bets being placed, anyone not in the race setting up around the course in a perfect vantage point to see their favourites coming around a bend.
Porter and Lumber had stood off to the side, clapping and cheering for Rusty and Slick, playing the ever supportive role that the steamer had come to expect from them. That he'd come to expect from Porter most of all.

Belle knew there was an irony in being a sleeping car with narcolepsy. Most of the time she didn't let it bother her, nor did she let her narcolepsy get in the way of her life. She'd found ways to manage it and was pretty much living her life to the fullest.
Except when it came to sex. Despite how hard she's tried, Belle always falls asleep before anything more than a make out session can happen. Leaving anyone she tries with frustrated, and no longer wanting her. She's tired of it.
So when Electra offers to help her get over this, who is she to say no?

She heard wheels approaching, and froze. She had chosen a hiding place (before her legs had become too hard to move) that was out of the way for a reason- no one should be able to find her unless they were purposely searching. The wheels grew louder, and then stopped. She was motionless, scarcely able to breathe. It was probably someone who had taken a wrong turn, or had just gotten lost- she just had to stay still and quiet, and everything would be fine-

Tassita and Hydra were polar opposites.
Hydra was a loud freight train, designed for hauling cargo across short or long distances. His colour scheme was dark, a stark contrast from his personality.
Tassita was a quiet coach- no literally, he was the quiet coach. Unlike his colour scheme, a bright yet pastel blue and orange, he had attitude. Lots of attitude.
Tassita was well aware of their differences- from personality, to preferences, to colour schemes- he could fill a book describing their differences.
Fortunately (or unfortunately, in Tassitas case), opposites tend to attract.
