The sun is high in the sky, it’s probably sometime after noon but Patrick isn’t watching the clock today. He’s content to live in this moment in time, feeling the sweat bead on his shoulder blades under his shirt and the cobblestones firm beneath his shoes. Tom is a few steps ahead, which is alright of course in the sense that it allows Patrick his own private and quiet moment of observation of the other man, but his fingers itch to touch.
