Things were going swimmingly for everyone and was going as good as it can get for hell. On top of that - the royal couple were in love and trying for a baby!
A month after an intense love making Alastor began exhibiting signs of pregnancy and whole and behold during a solo check up to the Royal Physician - the Radio demon was pregnant.
Wonderful news, right?
Well it would be if it weren't exactly when he arrived back home to the hotel - so did Queen Lilith with Lucifer glued to her hip.
The story begins as Alastor plans to shove his feelings deep into the recesses of his heart and quietly start a new life with himself, his child, and the little dignity he has left - away from anything and anyone involving the Morningstars.

Summary
Lucifer hated Alastor for so long he had already forgotten his reason why. What he didn't forget, however, is the fact that he had to attend a family event over the weekend. He also didn't forget how badly he had been treated by his family, and how Alastor is pretty much EXACTLY the kind of person his family despises.
Tall, dark…and handsome?
Okay, so that part is entirely a lie because Lucifer hates the guy. Anyway, he made a deal with Alastor. A quid pro quo situation. Alastor pretends to be his boyfriend over the weekend to piss Lucifer's family, and in return, Lucifer will owe him a favor.
Simple, right?
Except that he underestimated Alastor’s hatred for his family and Alastor's uncanny ability to uncover deep, buried secrets. Now, they're both stuck in Lucifer's family drama and of course, the realization that perhaps ‘hate’ isn't the right term for the feeling they have for each other.

The elevator doors slid open, and the lobby fell silent. All eyes turned to Alastor. Gone was his usual stiff haircut, replaced by soft curls framing his face. The burgundy dress clung to him, its plunging neckline revealing the soft fur of his chest, the hemline stopping scandalously short. Stockings traced the length of his legs, disappearing into high heels that clicked with each step. A choker circled his neck, long gloves matched the dress, and his tail swayed with maddening confidence.
Lucifer’s gaze lingered helplessly on every detail - the soft curl of his hair, the teasing flick of his tail, the way the dress seemed made to torment him. Even his usual filtered voice was gone, replaced by a Southern drawl as rich and smooth as molasses. It sent a shiver through Lucifer.
“What about you, sire?” Alastor asked, his crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. “Do I pass your inspection?”
Lucifer swallowed hard, his voice coming out rougher than he’d intended. “You’ll do.”
Alastor’s laughter, low and silken, sent another tremor through him. As the group moved to leave, Lucifer followed, pulse racing and one glaring truth burning in his mind.
He was hopelessly and completely fucked.

When Doctor Alastor Hartfelt, a sanctimonious Classics professor, brings a terrible novel with him on his flight, he plans on a relaxing few hours of annotating every page to tell the author how incredibly cataclysmic their work is. But when the author, Lucifer Morningstar himself, sits next to him, Alastor catches the author’s eye for an entirely different reason.

Normally when people dream, they're always usually pleasant. It's warm and satisfying, and always leaves a person alright with waking up the next day.
Lucifer hates when he dreams, because his mind always shows him what he can't ever have. They haven't bothered him in a while, but ever since he'd moved into the hotel, he had sadly forgotten about their tormenting ways.
He had gotten too comfortable, and now has to deal with the aftermath of his own emotions.
Good thing no one was there to witness it, right?

Whether this was Lucifer's second unbecoming, he figured there were worse things to unravel to, especially if it was to the taste of a certain radio demon. What he was less willing to address, was how quick he was back for more, and how everything was pulling him in like the center of a star.
Or, Lucifer irreversibly falls for the demon he's been hate-making out with. He hurts all the more for it.
