Summary
“I think I just don’t want to give them the satisfaction. If I do end up marrying a woman, fine, I’ll deal with it then. Plus, I imagine I’ll love her enough that I wouldn’t care that it would make my parents happy. But, as it is, I really just want to date a man and rub it in their faces.”
Eddie opens the fridge and takes out another beer. “You could do that.”
“How? They’ll be here in 4 days. I’m fast, but I’m not that fast.”
“Doesn’t have to be a real relationship.” Eddie opens the beer and hands it to Buck. “You could just ask someone to play along.”
Buck would like it noted, at this point, that it was Eddie’s idea.
The Buckleys come to visit. Some questionable decisions are made.

Summary
As the weight of the situation pressed down on him, a single question echoed relentlessly in his mind:
How had everything gone so horribly wrong?

Meanwhile, Sam grapples with the changes in his brother, seeking answers about the past year while contemplating his own urge to abandon hunting. As they embark on a hauntingly familiar quest to open Purgatory, it becomes increasingly clear that sometimes the past is inescapable, and to move forward one must go back to the start.

Summary
The plane flew over him, just a few feet above the top of his head. He felt his ears pop as he turned around to watch the plane continue its descent to land on the 110.
He smiled as he watched, but then he felt something warm start dripping down his cheeks. He knew it wasn't tears because the feeling was on the sides of his cheeks, but he didn't know what else it could be.
He slowly reached his hand up to where he felt the warmth before pulling it back to see what it was. His fingers were red. He was bleeding.
OR
Buck was way too close to the plane when it was descending on the 110 WITHOUT HEARING PROTECTION, so now, he must suffer those consequences.
OR x2
The more accurate version of Season 8 Episode 3 where Athena lands the plane on the 110. Since Tim Minear wants realism.

Summary
“I bought us a tree!” Still, the door muffled the words.
Dubious now, Callie said, “has it eaten you alive? Why do you need me to open the door?”
“I might be mildly trapped,” Arizona said, something in her voice that suggested she was more than just slightly inconvenienced.
“Oh my God, what have you done now?”
**
Or: Arizona brings home a quite frankly massive Christmas tree, and Callie's over the festive season already. -

Summary
If someone had told Eddie a few months ago that their house was haunted, he would have laughed in their face. He's never been that person who believes in curses, jinxes, or anything remotely supernatural. But after what he's been experiencing in his own house, he’s been forced to rethink things and admit there might be more going on than he can explain. He's had no other choice but to keep an open mind and leave room for the unknown. Because there is no logical reason for the things he’s been seeing and hearing. Trust him, he’s exhausted every rational explanation he can come up with. And no, he’s not talking about a random door creaking shut or a glass sliding off the counter. This is much worse.
(Eddie's house is haunted by the memory of Buck)

Summary
“Okay.” Carter starts to pace back and forth in front of the bed. “So. You’re fucking Abby.”
Lucy snorts. “Genius.”
Carter primly brandishes his middle finger and tries to slow his heart rate down to a cool 120. “Well, so, uh. Why? Is it because of me?”
Lucy’s jaw hits her chest. “Is it…John Truman Carter, what the fuck are you talking about?”

Summary
“Tommy, fucking answer me!”
He was yelling now, swiping his free hand nervously over his hair. He feels the urge to hit something. Someone. He wants to punch and punch and punch until his knuckles bleed out because it means he can still feel something.
“Evan is going to need you, you know,” Tommy says quietly. Eddie can hear sobs in the background.
Now what the fuck is that supposed to mean?
“What happened to Bobby?” Eddie’s voice breaks. “Where is he?”
Tommy exhales like it hurts. “Bobby Nash is dead.”
It hits Eddie like a bag of bricks to his stomach. His knees weaken, his ears ring, and for a second, everything goes white.
When he returns to reality, Tommy’s voice calls his name on the phone.
He swipes at his face, breath shaky. “Tell Buck I’m on the next flight out.”
He hangs up.
Or:
Eddie Diaz is trying to have a quiet movie night with his son when the phone rings. It’s Tommy Kinard—and he’s saying Bobby Nash is dead. Everything spirals after that.

Except now, when it starts to get dark, Eddie starts feeling an itch under his skin that doesn’t go away until he flicks that switch and the space around his front door lights up. No one is coming over, Eddie isn’t going anywhere, but the light is on. Just in case.
Or, Eddie leaves Buck in Los Angeles, but he keeps the porch light on just in case.
