This is a smut and fluff fanfiction set in the Stardew Valley universe. It is a Shane romance story with a very slow burn. This story follows you, the reader, as you move to Stardew Valley to inherit your late grandfather's farm and slowly befriend the townspeople, specifically the antisocial town drunk, Shane. This slowly blossoms into a friendship and a wonderful yet slightly turbulent romantic relationship.

After the passing of Old Man Petey, one of the farmers in Pelican Town, and one that Harvey had been looking after, he discovers that Petey left his house and farm to his granddaughter, Florence, who lives in the big city. Florence never saw herself as the kind of person who would run a farm. But when she spends the rare weekend away from her shitty jobs to organize the funeral in Pelican Town, the thought of moving there starts to not feel so strange anymore.
But the confusing feelings between Harvey and Florence are not all there is to talk about in this small town. Harvey acts as a mentor to the sapphic mess that are Maru and Penny while struggling with his own strained friendship with Shane who has been struggling with his drinking problem for a long time. At the other end of town, Demetrius and Robin are struggling with their approach to coexisting with Sebastian, whose relationships with not just his step father but his sister have suffered because of it.
