It had been six months since Rhaenyra forced herself into power with the help of her uncle Daemon and the Velaryons. The Seven Kingdoms was now in a fiery chokehold with Daemon laying waste to the Riverlands and moving to take the Vale soon, Laena burning the Reach and Westerlands before taking them into the fold, Rhaenys and the Sea Snake holding the line at the borders of Dorne.
This left the mad queen ruling the Crownlands under paranoia and a fiery temper only soothed by her black brides.
