Heaven and hell are not happy Aziraphale and Crowley stopped the apocalypse. They realized the two are somehow immune to hellfire/holy water. The metatron decides to put a stop to this madness and turns Crowley human. Or really he shares a body and is trapped in a soul of a human. That human is Jess Mariano.
Meanwhile Aziraphale is forbade from going to Earth and is stuck in heaven. One day he hopes to reconnect with Crowley.

Summary
It's been a summer since they both invited themselves over to Rory's house- now starting their senior year, Paris and Jess find themselves drawn to each other by circumstance. Jess hadn't intended to get a job in a Hartford bookstore, but Doose had made sure nobody in Stars Hollow would take him on. Paris is doing research for an extracurricular project and realises Jess might be the missing piece.

Picking up from Season 5 episode 21 Blame Booze and Melville. Everything before is cannon.This time Lorelai Gilmore is having Luke Danes baby. I think this was incredibly missed opportunity that the show did not take. This is my take of what would have happened and the better story line for Luke and Lorelai for the later part of the series. I will be using elements of early season 6 and some minor story lines of season 7. Plus, my own take on year in the life with shorter timeline break. Most of Rory's arch will stay the same, there could be some minor changes. If you adore this couple like I do, I hope you enjoy my alternative reality.
