Summary
Last week, recently-bereaved Roger Murray and his daughter Poppy moved to Scotland. Today it is time for Poppy to start at her new primary school. Neither she nor Roger are entirely in their element yet, and both are grieving the loss of their husband/father, Art. But Poppy's new teacher, Mr Smith, seems like he might be the sort of fellow who could really help some New Scots settle into life in the small rural town of Tayburn.
New chapters at least weekly but sometimes more.

The Brigadier first met the individual known as “The Doctor” five years ago. Though he still is largely uncertain of who he is, or from where he has come, there are two things he does know.
1. That he has no mystical abilities whatsoever.
2. That he, the Brigadier, will do anything in his power to stop him.
Or in other words, UNIT thinks the Doctor is an alien who keeps abducting people, even though he's just going about his usual business, and his companions are perfectly happy to travel with him. The Brigadier keeps tracking him down, but never seems to succeed in catching him. Eventually they realize that this whole thing was just one big misunderstanding. Eventually.

It’s all very serious, and he also has to worry about Jo, but it’s also a bit funny that the Master was gloating about his plans and kidnapped them, and now he’s trapped in the same cell that he put them in alongside them.

Or, the Doctor maybe has too much to drink at the U.N.I.T. Christmas party and things begin to spiral in ways the Brigadier couldn't anticipate.

While working on an experimental compound, the Master is accidentally exposed to its fumes and suffers the consequences. After failing to deal with the problem alone, he has no other hope but to ask the Doctor to review his notes and suggest a solution. Both reach the same conclusion indepentently, the only way to cure the Master is by provoking an orgasm while in telepathic contact with a healthy mind. What's the Doctor to do but to help?
