    After the war, Bumblebee had grown tired of expectations costantly forced on him, of duties that never ended, of being told who he was supposed to be.

     

    At first, he hunted Decepticons with his team on Earth. But then the council stepped in, insisting he attend the Academy to "refine his skills", because apparently — he wasn't good enough in his job for them.

     

    A year later, framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Bumblebee fled. Branded a fugitive, he vanished into the underground and became something else: an assassin, striking from the shadows to target the Council that betrayed him.

     

    Eventually he got captured, the Council deemed him too dangerous for prison and sentenced him to the shadowzone.

     

    But something went wrong.

     

    Instead of exile, he woke up on the Nemesis—Megatron’s warship. Mid-war in the past.

     

    Though it's just a nightmare, right?

Verb tenses (indicated with sound tags, like English does with ‘ing’ or ‘ed’) mark off whether a thing didn’t happen, possibly happened, probably happened, was personally witnessed to have happened, reliably documented to have happened, logically must have happened, or is hoped to have happened. Future tense is not as elaborate, since none of that has happened. Although there are a fucking boatload of past tenses, at least it is consistent. No irregular verbs at all.

    This afternoon was all structural comparisons with Arcee. She says a sentence in English, then again in Cybertronix while I write it down. Then she checks the spelling. Then we would go through and gloss word by word.

      "I’m not afraid of you” Megatronus traced the words embodied in his frame. Those were the first words that his Sparkmate would say to him, although they confused him at first.

      Why would they be afraid of him? He was a pretty big mech, imposing even, but scary?

      His imagination ran wild. He wrote poems and stories of love born in the time of danger, forbidden love and things like that, so much so that even Orion Pax, his best friend, teased him about them.

      Megatronus had hope.

      Then things went downhill.

       

      "I'm not afraid of you"

      It was reassuring to Megatron that even after everything that happened his Sparkmate wasn't afraid of him.

      Who were they? Some new Decepticon recruit? An underling of his? Someone who was impressed by his power and philosophy?

      Megatron was a warrior, but he could still dream… right?

       

      Megatron glared at the words etched into his frame.

      "I'm not afraid of you"

      How dare they!

      He was the most feared bot in the galaxy, Heck, galaxies!

      The idea of someone, Sparkmate or not, not being afraid of him was akin to an insult.

      It made him feel weak.

      That's why he began covering the words up.

      As soon as some was barely visible, he covered it with strong paint.

      He'll probably destroy whatever Sparkmate he might have.

       

      There was a… situation on the Nemesis.

      The Decepticons kidnapped a human that might hold some information about the Autobots or their human pets.

      There was a problem.

      "Subject not speaking." Soundwave reported.

      "I'll take care of it." Megatron growled. If he wanted something done he had to do it himself!

      He entered the room and you were there, sitting on a slab of metal, as if you hadn't just been abducted by aliens.

      He growled at you "Don't you understand that you won't go back to Earth unless you answer me?"

      Your eyes widened slightly but otherwise you remained expressionless.

      "I'm not afraid of you." You said coldly.

      How dare you?

      How dare you say the same words that his Sparkmate will say to him!

      You, with your small, cute face…

      …

      No no no no no no!

      You with your fleshy body… how would it feel against his servos?

      Scrap!

      You chuckled, "I did not imagine our meeting to be like this," You moved your clothes to show the words Megatron just said to you "I thought I would meet someone at some sort of fantasy convention but this, this is more exciting!"

      Well…
