Summary
Harry Potter was many things. He was a powerful wizard, the master of death, a powerful Auror, a problem-solver....sort of😅, and above all he was someone who craved family. He wanted a family that would love him for him and above all would not be FAKE! He had a good life...mostly after all that trash with Voldemort and the war but still he craved a new life where he could be loved and do what he wanted.
He though the whole master of death thing was just a fancy title....yeah it wasn't😬🫣.It just didn't mean what he thought it did which was apparently reincarnation after a long as hell Wizarding life and being reborn into an immortal species! Not only that, he just so happened to be reborn as a character from a book he read as a kid that was on their way to being hated and tortured AGAIN.
Yeah no.
Harry Potter now Maeglin Lomion was not about to deal with a prissy princess, naive cowards, royal drama, psycho Demigods, crazy relatives, bigoted relatives, and FATE!
He's gonna lead his own life this time and no ones gonna stop him!

Summary
Celegorm and Curufin, desperate and afraid for Celebrimbor's fate, take up an offer from Namo. They will leave the Halls of Mandos into unraveled threads of the tapestry of time, and go back to a moment that put the course of their doom in motion.
They end up back in Nargothrond, several years before Beren and Luthien come seeking Finrod's help in their quest for a Silmaril. This time around, they choose differently. This changes everything.
(It starts with smothering a much-confused and rather-pleased Celebrimbor - and Finrod - with love and attention.)

O! how shall summer's honey breath hold out,
Against the wrackful siege of battering days,
When rocks impregnable are not so stout,
Nor gates of steel so strong but Time decays?
- William Shakespeare, Sonnet 65On the worst day of their lives, as they fight to kill each other atop the walls of Gondolin, Idril, Tuor, and Maeglin find themselves flung into the future and separated. Tuor wakes in a sacred pool, Idril in mountains full of shadows, and Maeglin (still holding Eärendil) right near a stronghold of Men.
Faramir would like to know why someone is in the Forbidden Pool right after he got Gollum out of it, Frodo would like to know why this elf-lady is reacting so strongly to them calling upon the Light of Eärendil, and Éowyn would like to know if this elf will lend her his armor so she can sneak out to fight...

Summary
Sometimes, Luna thinks as she stares up at the dark sky, furiously whipping tendrils of pale hair reaching up into the cloudy expanse above like desperate fingers scrabbling for a hold, sometimes it would be nice to properly say goodbye.
Her wand is a comforting weight in her hand as she smashes into the cobbled-stone below.
And then the Nargles begin singing.

Maeglin.
(Traitor. Criminal. Despicable.
That was how the world remembered one of the most wicked eldar in their history. It was his place in the books - as written by the survivors of Gondolin.
If one was to asked Maeglin himself, he would agree.
The Valar, on the other hand, wouldn't.)
Lomion.
(An orphaned child, not yet grown. A young ellon, lost in a world that had already cast him in their prepared paints. A voice, silenced, tears drowning the words of a story never told.
Until the Valar degreed that he will have another chance to find happiness.
(Maeglin, most sincerely, never agreed.)In the end, it comes down to this: Maeglin Lomion died, and he wanted to remain in the Halls to pay for his failure - only to find that Lord Namo re-embodied him against his will. Hiding in the comforting woods of an unfamiliar world, he knows what awaits him when the people of Gondolin find him. And he accepts that. It isn't until he is violently renounced by his mother that he finally finds the strength to face his perceived fate - only for nothing to go as he thought it would.
(And there is more than one being who won't let things end like that.)Series

Summary
It might have been a short story, a simple one. Two princesses: one dark, one light. A noble knight, pure of heart. Love requited, love spurned. A prophecy. A curse.
But only young rivers run straight. Told enough times, a tale wears at its boundaries, begins to twist and bow and braid…

To her credit, she recovers quickly, indignant that she cannot put her talents to use, of course she chafes at the role of a mere attendant. She knows little of women’s work and far less of the complex dance of Noldorin etiquette and all the dizzying palace politics at play in every waking moment, perfect storybook princess; the shining jewel at the center of all her mother’s stories, examination, Meleth, knows in her flinty core that she cannot refuse a challenge, botanical Sindarin knot? Jeweled-inlay for weeds… pretend, Helcaraxë, trapped, Idril thinks, wildly, that she will bite the blackberry off her lip, but the sweet inexperience of Lómiel’s kiss sears Idril infinitely hotter than she expects. She gasps with the touch of Idril’s tongue, her hands hover restlessly over Idril’s body, she trembles prettily, obstruction of her viciously tight stays, cosmic punishment, draws out a silver locket on a long chain around his neck. Sindarin marriage custom, some hidden trigger on its ornate surface. Encased in glass on each side is a coiled braid of black hair, one of them interwoven with fine gold filament, not quite as flashy as Fingon’s gilded ribbons; she’d always been more reserved, parentage, gilded cage, enchantment, intentions, tear dots the floor, Wretch, iron-wrought, charming servant is an amusing novelty, tryst, free, already twisted her fate as far as it will stretch, boundaries, erosion at work: It happens at such a gradual and geological pace as to be invisible to the brief lives of its inhabitants– but surely, there must be a moment of perceptible change. A sense that the story has shifted, or will shift. A precipice. Southern sindar, second prince, coals, boundaries, gauche message, rainwalk, dense tree cover, foster, overture, petty and shameless, voyeur, Outrage and longing gyre in Maeglin’s chest with a sick swoop, deceiving, unwell, skirts, cursed, curse, blood, mantle, crystal points advance, "It is said, of the continual clash of chance and will and fate, that unforeseen actions or events will become integral parts of a tale, once it is finally done..." is a heavily derived Tolkien quote from "The Nature of Middle Earth", XI. Itarille Turucaniel to Findecano Finwe-Nolofinwion,
Greetings! And congratulations, too, on the birth of your son. Its news brought much joy among us, for even in the Hidden Kingdom there are many who greatly admire your valour and courage. Although it would have been nice if you could have informed us of your wedding, as well. We had no idea you were married! (Well, that's what Father said. And I say, as long as you and your cousin are happy, whatever.)

Summary
And then, at some point, Argon had grown the tallest out of all Fingolfin’s children. Turgon was astonished, while Aredhel and Fingon found it very funny.
But Argon had died. He had been slain in battle. His first and last one.
Maybe the tallest child, but not even fully grown to adulthood.
Fingolfin brushed his hand across his eyes, and turned away from the sunrise. What good was a beautiful world, if you were without those whom you loved? -
