Summary
AU ending for "Five Times Frederick Wentworth Had the Breath Knocked Out of Him On the Ice (and one time he let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding)," where Anne Elliot and Frederick Wentworth were pairs skaters and childhood sweethearts before a disastrous break-up. Years later, Frederick's an NHL superstar and Anne's a stage manager after her solo figure skating career ended with a career-ending injury at the Olympics.
They're finally friends again... but then they get caught in a snowstorm and have to shelter in a shack where there's only one bed. What are they to do? ;)

There's school, there's her mother's failing health, there's a family she must to do her best to hold together, and of course, there's all the life-absorbing struggles of trying to compete at the next Olympics.
Olympic gold-medalist men's figure skater Fitzwilliam Darcy faces the exact same stressors.
The friendship born of their specific circumstances is a real help to both of them-- and a source of constant misunderstandings to everyone around them.
