Summary
The barrier is broken, and the monsters of Underswap now live in Ebott city. You need a new maid for your house. The last one quit, just like every other one has before. It's not your fault... Ok so maybe it kinda is. Your house is really messy and, more importantly, you're a succubus and you drive all your maids crazy. The last one tried to murder their entire family in hopes of getting with you.... Still not your fault. Hopefully they send someone better next time. Someone who can withstand your natural allure. There's a ring at the door and you answer it to someone unexpected. Isn't this... the little monster you met the other day?
How do you teach a succubus about love when she lives in a world where she's always had everything she's ever wanted? How will Blue be able to handle someone as inappropriate and slothful as our reader?

You're a mostly shy and ill-mannered girl endlessly blaming the world for something you yourself aren't quite sure of. You hate that you're stuck being unhappy while the rest of society- monsters and humans alike- stroll along with their happy lives, unaware of your miserable state of dependancy. You envy others for their tenacity to survive the world when you can't...
Everything changes when you meet a tall skeleton monster with artisan spaghetti dreams, an anime-loving fish monster, and her much shorter lizard-monster girlfriend obsessed with Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. Can the three find a way to change your stone cold heart and bring you out of your monster-bigoted mindset? Or will you fall victim to living the same lonely life you've lived since the beginning?
On top of that, will a pun-loving skeleton still wary of this reality vanishing help you out with his friends? Or will he be the one to push you over the edge into misfortune?
UPDATE: This story was written back when my writing was EXTREMELY amateurish. And bad. You're going to need ibuprofen picking it up, ngl. I plan to make a cleaned up version of it later.

Summary
Humans are weird and are never satisfied with what they already have. They have to alter everything around them to make their own lives more convenient. Including other lifeforms.
For example, people tampered with genetics to make fish that glow in the dark. Why? For no other reason than they thought they would make radical pets.
As technology advanced, people moved from tampering with simple genetics to tampering with soul energy itself. Thus, Bitties were created: Tiny skeleton creatures powered by soul energy. And of course, almost immediately, they too were patented and sold as “pets.” But being simple things made only of bones and souls, could they really be considered alive? What does it even mean to be alive? What is a soul?
You really didn’t want to think about such headache-inducing existential questions. All you wanted to do was earn enough to go to school, get your veterinary technician license, and live a simple and happy existence. But life had other plans for you in the form of an angry little creature staring you down from the confines of a jar. What the hell?
