"Even before stepping on the subway, we’d always been drawn together, starting from the same page when we would need to wait for his siblings to catch up. Five’s time in the Commission had sharpened him into a more dangerous weapon than his siblings, as it had done for me, and his intellect is the only one in the family that could match mine.
