He tries not to think about how this situation is just getting worse.
“Ah,” Azure starts, the darkness in his eyes contrasting with a Mona Lisa smile plastered across his face, “But I’m afraid I am, now.”
Azure leans in, MK leans away.
“And you will listen to me. I will not have a naughty, disobedient cub in my court.”
“Well, good thing I’m not a part of your court.” MK narrows his eyes up at him.
He has no idea how wrong he's about to be about that.

Bella takes her time forgiving him, Edward doesn't issue an ultimatum and accepts an uneasy truce with Jacob for Bella's sake. Mostly. Even Edward can admit that it's nice basking in the human embodiment of the sun.
