    Summary

    This is a complete redo of both the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings series. Here, Bilbo was banished from Erebor but learned of the true power of the Ring. His decision to carry it to Mordor changes, well, everything.

    This is the story of how he does it, what becomes of the original company, how those who were meant to be kings will rise to their thrones, and how love, ultimately, conquers darkness and evil.

    And then there are the stories of what comes after the great battles have been fought.

    Aragorn is not sure if that is quite true. They were friends some weeks before but they have been slowly slipping into a grayer area. Aragorn tries to search for a word for someone who is more than a brother, but less than a lover. It is only when Mairwen starts to wilt that he realizes he is scowling.

    '“Don’t look at me like that,” Remus commented, but Regulus could hear his grin.

    “Like what?”

    “Like you’re waiting for me to start interrogating you.”

    “I am.” Regulus shrugged, stretching his legs on the twin-sized bed they had worked together to extend into something that could comfortably fit the both of them.

    “I’m not going to, Regulus, but it definitely would be polite of you to tell me. How does that sound as your first lesson on living in the mortal world?” He said, sitting on the floor at the edge of the bed, looking up at Regulus.

    “They found out,” Regulus said, a smile on his face, despite there being very little to smile about.'
