Wile E. has been chasing after that bird - his friend - long enough to know when everything is not at all like it normally is. Usually, Wile E. spots Road Runner somewhere in the distance, sets a trap for the blue-feathered menace, Road Runner foils said trap, and Wile E. goes without getting his teeth into the bird.
Throw in a few seconds of Road Runner staying in one place just long enough to say “Meep Meep,” and blow a raspberry at Wile E. before skeedaddling off again, and you’ve basically got his whole working week.

Dick Grayson got enough stress as a 28 years old somehow gain a meta-human-cute-dangerous-hopefullynoncannibal child that the Bats doubt could be his clone, an experiment using Golden Boy's genes, even worse, Catalina's child, or... a son he consumated and be the deadbeat dad that didn't even know of his baby's existence and let the kid unravels in madness and alone in this forsaken world and- (and now, Dick probably is just dick, hyperventlating at all the possibilities).
Deadpool has no idea why he got to be both slightly smaller, and little more insane to gain a friends in a clown, but hey, Spidey! (will come joining in later scenes, maybe). Oh wait, is that his dad-
In short: Gotham probably is more scared of The Spider than The Spider is scared of Gotham. The Red Killer is a bit too cheerful and killer-spree to be The Spider's friend, so he gotta be the kid's maybe-boyfriend.
