Summary
All Simon ever wanted was to live a normal life. He accepted years ago in prison that he would die there. At least he got to live. Besides the occasional new inmates trying to pick a fight with him, it was decent.
But when a mysterious woman named Dr. Ava offers him a chance at freedom, he takes it. All he has to do is poke and prod at some alien sample from a distant moon. It sounded easy enough.
Now he was on SHIELD's most wanted list. Every agent in the city was looking for him. That included the cities resident Star-Spider, who definitely wasn't told what Simon looked like under all the alien goo.

Summary
Ryland Grace thought that working on secret government science projects and then being basically bitten by a radioactive spider and then turning into a gosh-darn superhuman would be the wildest thing that ever happened to him. Because why wouldn't it???
But then one day, after coming home from his perfectly NORMAL job as a school teacher, he senses something. Something new, yet familiar. After trying to chase his best friend's worry away (that certainly won't bite him in the butt, no....) he walks into his house and finds...NINE other spider people. A good chunk of them, by the way, are TEENAGERS and he's pretty certain that he shouldn't be ok with literal kids runninga round risking lives. He's a teacher, for crying out loud!

What if the Knight from Hollow Knight got sent back to the past? I got that idea when thinking of a way to potentially have an ending where Quirrel is alive... Let me cope in peace
The Knight woke up and everything felt off for them, somehow... Grimmothy seemed to feel that same, hovering in the air and looking at the near distance in utter confusion, coincidentally where Ghost needed to go. As they approached the room where their sibling should be, the Knight was startled to see that there was not a single infected particle in the air, instead entering a clean room with a pure vessel chained in the middle. They were much, much more well kept than Ghost had expected them to be and somehow, despite how it was outside of the egg, here the only signs of infections were tiny putrid orange particles surrounding the sleeping, seemingly exhausted Hollow Knight. Still, the small vessel did not falter, simply breaking the chains and freeing them.

Summary
The part doesn't represent the whole, yet it remains a part of it. The human and the demonic were parts of him, parts so intrinsic that he nearly died trying to favor one over the other. Despite this, this didn't make it any easier for him to grasp the idea of being as human as he was demonic.
Vergil has accepted his humanity, but he struggles to make it a present part of him, which causes problems. Especially when it comes to his relationship with his son.
It seemed so easy when he was the feeble poet. Perhaps that's the key.No Vergil, stab yourself with Yamato its not a solu-... Fuck, he already did it, isn't it?
