They remember the lesson sinking in: tears don’t get you nothing in this world. Tears are for little girls, grown women, not little boys and grown men, certainly not Harry Harrison’s son.
No, Harrison’s do not cry. Not when Mom’s die. Not when you hunt.
Not ever.
So, all those years ago, among the storm of yelling, they did as instructed. They wiped their tears, hand shaking so violently it was hard to believe they didn’t scratch themselves by accident. Made sure they got all of the tears, wiped their cheeks dry. Dad inspected them, only quieting when he deemed they did good. Then he grunted and went back upstairs. Just like that. Door locking, the tiny sound echoing down to their tiny ears.
Darkness falling again.
OR
River Harrison is born to a mother who dies immediatly after. They look exactly like her, except for their smile. That is all their father's.
Perhaps that is what should really be to blame for all of what comes after.

Summary
The ninety-fourth reset. That’s when he started to unravel—or at least, that was when you started noticing.
After reaching a "perfect" ending countless times, you still reset in the hopes of saving Asriel . . . at the cost of losing Sans. Sacrificing your power to turn back the clock might be enough to save him, but a mysterious rupture in time lurks in wait under the true lab, ready to pull everything into the void. With it come signs of Sans' long lost brother, threatening to draw him away down a darker yet darker path.
When the usual events don't go as planned and new secrets come to light, is it too much to hope that everyone can be saved?
A story about family, healing, and self-discovery.
Note: This fic starts in a pretty dark headspace but ends in a higher one. Just a promise, since the first two chapters are pretty heavy. <3

This fic? Perfect. Everything in it, perfect. I cannot for the life of me express the amount of joy this fic brings me, because any combination of the english language--and every other language out there, really--will fail at conveying it properly. The only real way to understand is to read it for yourself. You will have a good time, I promise you that. You will love it as I love it. This fic deserves to be loved.

Lucifer is absolutely ecstatic when Charlie offers to include a permanent set of quarters just for him in the blueprints for the brand new Hazbin Hotel. Getting to see his little girl for as many meals a day as he remembers to eat is great! Except sometimes that number of meals is exactly zero, and other times he sees her but doesn’t quite manage to follow the whole conversation, but—it’s all group hangouts full of chatter from her little friends around these parts anyways! He’s sure that it’s hardly noticeable! ...He really hopes that it’s hardly noticeable.
Or: Lucifer has a difficult, very normal day. He tries very hard anyway.

UHEUHEUHEUHER--THIS IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE LUCIFER-CENTRIC FIC I'VE READ YET!!!
It's just,,,,so brilliantly written. He's so relatable and it's heartbreaking. Just--the line "“I just don’t understand,” Charlie says, leaning over to put her face into her palms." and also "“Why can’t you at least care enough to pay attention when it’s important?”" hit me like a semi-truck. Genuinely one of the best characterizations of him I have read.

Summary
Papyrus had always seen himself as the stronger brother. Of course - why wouldn’t he when his lazy brother, Sans, spends 90% of the day sleeping in his room and the other 10% doing god-knows-what? But when the secrets of time-lines and what Sans has been keeping on his shoulders are revealed, Papyrus makes a promise both to himself and to his brother that Sans wouldn’t fight this battle on his own anymore. Papyrus was going to help his older brother, no matter what.

WVYGHJbjkhio I've been meaning to find this again and bookmark it for real, but I kept putting it off! Until now.
Very good story. Has one of my favorite explorations of how the Undertale cast would react to learning about the resets; Papyrus especially. I just love the skelebros in this one, they just make me smile so hard and want to hug them so bad. And GASTER. One of my favorite explorations of Gaster's character too, and I love the relationship between him and Sans, the back and forth they do is just *chefs Kiss*
Overall just a very good fic and one of my favorites! 100/10!

One of my favorite Techno-centric stories. I'd consider it foster care au, but not fully there, more so right beside it. The writing is beautiful and fits the story so much; I can't imagine it in another writing style. I just know that it's going to remain in my thoughts forever moving forward, always there making me smile.
10/10, and a thousand kudos to the author!

Summary
The night Tommy disappeared, it went like this:
Tubbo screamed the words that became his goodbye. He can’t accept that Tommy is gone, because that would be accepting that the last words they exchanged were angry and intended to hurt. So he doesn’t accept it. He’ll search for years if he has to.
Techno let Tommy leave without so much as trying to stop him. He’s replayed the memory of that night and wished he’d done anything else, until he thinks the guilt might be enough to destroy him. He thinks he might already be on his way there.
And Quackity can’t help but feel like this is all just a bitter echo. This town is cursed, and Tommy is only its latest victim.

I honestly thought I'd bookmarked this already, but went to check and it's not there. Whoops! Bookmarking is still something I'm fairly new to, I used to do private ones all the time before I became aware subscriptions existed. Now I do them to recommend some of my favourite fics of all time (which are all Dream SMP ones right now).
And this right here? It's mystery, it's family, it's Techno...basically everything I love in one book. So well written and paced too, it's just--it's a blessing, really.
