For as long as Telemachus could remember, those words seemed to have followed him since his birth. He heard them traded among the court, the servants, the townsfolk — Mama had even told him, once, that it had been her first thought when he was born, that he was undeniably his father's son.
He had always delighted in that title. Odysseides, the son of Odysseus — even if he had far too few memories of his father to truly remember what he was like.
(The four times Telemachus was compared to his father, the one time his father compared him to his mother).

Summary
After Ten Years of waiting, the day is finally here. Their son is coming. Unfortunately, grim news has just reached Ithaca as well. A man has kidnapped Helen of Sparta from her Kingdom, and the banners of war have been called to retrieve her.
Follows Odysseus and Penelope in the last few months before Odysseus is forced to leave for the Trojan War: through the birth of Telemachus, their last moments of companionship, and that final heart-breaking moment of departure.
A sequel to my earlier (very fluffy) series Under the Olive Trees, but can be read as a Stand Alone One-Shot.

When Draco Malfoy is (mistakenly) abducted by pirates on the eve of his wedding, he wants nothing more than to escape.
Not because of the constant threat of getting thrown overboard, or the stench of men stuck at sea for weeks on end, or the fact that he's getting sucked deeper and deeper into a wild treasure hunt he's not equipped for. No, the worst part about getting kidnapped, he's finding, is the longer he stays, the more difficult it is becoming to leave.
And he has one moody pirate captain with beautiful green eyes to blame for that.

In an alternate turn of events, Penelope finds out what the suitors have planned once they fail her challenge and she snaps.
This is kind of a Warrior!Penelope fanfic. She's still at home and Odysseus is off doing his monster thing somewhere though.
Loosely based on, but definitely inspired by, the fan AU song released by Gwendy. Give it a listen, it's awesome.
