“You’ll have to hold on, okay?” Robby chuckled, and Whitaker could feel his body shake, because they were sitting on the same flimsy, stupid seat. Nope. Nope, nope, nope. This was not happening. Some time ago, he remembered cussing out motorcyclists in their entirety, especially the ones who didn’t wear helmets, after a particularly bad collision incident had left them with six casualties, four entirely preventable. It didn’t seem relevant here. Dr Robby was driving. He felt his morals slipping away by the second.
“Hold on to where?” And yes, Whitaker was aware of how weird and stretched out his voice sounded, and no, he was not going to unpack that right now.
“Me.”

A lift home on the back of Robby’s Triumph Bonneville one evening pushes Whitaker’s inconvenient crush on his attending into the danger zone, and Robby seems entirely aware of this.

Summary

Robby had been a werewolf for over two decades now. There wasn't much that surprised him anymore about his furry little problem, but in the aftermath of PittFest the heightened stress, newly acquired trauma and the presence of a certain MS4 seemed to derail everything he thought knew about himself. Will he manage to get back on track, or will HR have his ass?
Jack had just settled in his chair on the balcony for a quiet afternoon of listening to the police radio, as his phone rang. Maybe keeping the status quo has made him too comfortable and all he needed was a young hunter to get him back in the game? And maybe, along the way, he will finally be able to confess some things to Robby?

“You were in an accident. Please, listen to me. Get back on the bed.”
Dennis stills at that, giving him that same, blank look from before. Robby wants to shut his eyes. He never wants to see it again.
He tilts his head. “Accident?”
“You were—” Robby says, and doesn’t miss the desperation in his own voice. “I just told you. You were in an accident. Don’t you remember?”After an argument about Robby’s resignation from the Pitt, Dennis gets into a car crash that makes him unable to retain short-term memories. Including the fight they just had, and Robby’s imminent departure. It’s up to Robby to nurse him back to health, and choose which truth to tell him.
Or, Dennis gets anterograde amnesia.
