Cole’s usual nonchalant exterior had seemed less prominent, like someone had chipped away at the surface of it and was breaking through to the soft core. From any outsiders’ perspective, nothing would’ve seemed off- his arms were crossed, and he was leant back in his chair, slightly manspread and tapping his right foot.

Mk's been getting attacked by a lot of demons lately, initially thinking many of those who were newly empowered after the whole Pillar fiasco are simply eager to test their strength and see what they can get away with.
Turns out he's very wrong, they're after him for a much more... Intimate reason, and MK has no idea how to deal with this situation or stop it. Thankfully Monkey King is able to offer a solution, albeit a somewhat tedious one.
But a week or so of being made a spectacle in a tournament where Suitors from across the 3 realms compete for his hand beats getting assaulted at every hour of the day by demons trying to kidnap him. Kai rolls his eyes, but he gets ready to listen regardless. Nya doesn't even look up from her phone, her brain easily passing over Zane’s conversation filler. Jay furrows his eyebrows, confused, because he knows Zane doesn’t have a mom—they all know Zane doesn’t have a mom. Lloyd just sort of frowns, waiting.
“Oh, man, what'd she say this time?” Cole asks, sounding genuinely concerned as he puts his drink back on the table. Well, someone doesn’t know Zane doesn’t have a mom.>
Or, 5 times Cole is completely oblivious to Zane being a robot, and 1 time he finds out!
