Summary
Going into his final year of law school, Foggy has no clue what to expect. Based on the last two years' events- gaining and losing his first boyfriend, getting mugged, kidnapped, and stabbed all he hopes for is to actually graduate in one piece.
Things had fallen apart for Matt last year. Mistakes piled up, culminating in the fiery demise of The Scratch Club. He'd been convinced that in its embers was the point of no return for the Masked Man. Foggy and Karen ending up in the hospital should've been the end of Matt Murdock. But things hadn’t ended there. Pushing them both away hadn't worked; with strong hands they'd picked him up, and he'd promised to make things right. This year he was determined to fulfill that promise at any cost.
Secrets were a thing that had kept Karen safe, or so that's what she believed until her secrets of digging into The Scratch Club and running around in a mask had landed Foggy in the hospital. Unfinished business with the Masked Man looming in the background, Karen knew that hanging up her mask wasn’t possible just yet. Operating in complete shadows was much easier when Foggy didn’t know her secrets.

Summary
After the slightly awkward self-discovery first year at Columbia University, Foggy is ready to head into the second year with his good friend Karen Page and roommate turned boyfriend Matt Murdock. Of course, nothing ever is that easy for a Nelson.
Conquering doubts about going to Columbia University, making good friends, and not shoving his feelings down long enough to become Foggy's boyfriend should've left Matt in a better place to enter his second year of law school. However, there are still things his new boyfriend doesn't know, like his work at The Scratch Club, his past, or the simple fact that he doesn't know what it means to actually date someone.
The boys' picture-perfect romance was supposed to be the highlight of Karen's otherwise messed-up life, she tied herself to. They had promised not to be idiots this year, but with the way their first year ended, she should've known better. Add that to the new partnership between her, Felicia, and the Nine Lives, Karen is sure they're all in for a long year.

“Are you sniffing me?” There’s a laugh in Foggy’s voice, inviting her in on the joke.
Matty doesn’t much feel like laughing.
She ducks her head lower, lips grazing the shell of Foggy’s ear. “Yes.”
She hears Foggy’s breath catching slightly, the slight creak of her office chair as she shifts, spreading her knees a little wider. “I’m sure I don’t exactly smell like roses.” She sounds apologetic, the foolish girl. “It’s been so warm lately.”
“You don’t smell like roses, no.” Matty finally gives into temptation, and presses her mouth to Foggy’s ear, to her jaw, nosing down the creamy column of her throat. “You smell like yourself.”
“Very eloquent of you.” There’s a definite hitch in Foggy’s voice now as Matty presses a slow kiss to her pulse, thudding warm and steady in her neck.
“It’s good.” She hums, kissing a slow trail across the line of Foggy’s collarbone, exposed by the low cut of her blouse. “Sweet. Like you.”
Or, Matty gets a craving. Her girlfriend indulges her.

Matt Murdock - mutant, had been the Devil for the better part of a year now. He can deal with a lot of things, underground crime networks, hoards of ninjas, some asshole with a gun causing too much damn chaos, those same criminals somehow getting their hands on sentinel blasters. But this, hearing what he is pretty sure is Foggy Nelson, his best friend, the one he has trusted more than any other person, out there at night doing the same thing that he's doing? He had no idea if he could handle that.

Foggy Nelson - possible mutant, had taken it upon himself to see what this whole vigilante shtick was about. And maybe find out more of who this Devil of Hell's Kitchen was exactly, he didn't trust him, but if Matt and Karen did, maybe there was a chance that something good could come out of this. And besides, with a bit of heightened strength and the ability to change gravity around himself, what could go wrong?
