“They’re not in L.A., they’re in El Paso,” Eddie said, steadily meeting Buck’s eyes.
Buck’s hands started to shake slightly, not understanding what was coming out of his best friend’s mouth, “Wait, are, are you serious?” he managed to get out.
Eddie looked back at him, his eyes weary, but resolved, “I’m tired of missing out on all of my son’s big moments before he grows up.”
