Summary
Purple isn't exactly sure precisely at which point their life went to hell. If someone had asked them a year ago, or even two weeks ago they would have said it was the day Red signed the NDA, or maybe the Polus Reactor Meltdown that preceded. This past week on the Skeld has proved that when you think those kinds of things the universe conspires to show you just how bad it can really get, over and over again.
The thing wearing Red's skin clears their throat, "Is this better?"

In the wake of defeat, Purple is forced to live on a ship with the alien imposter that killed their entire crew and the parasite that now lives in the captain's body.
Takes very heavy inspiration from Amonguy's "Bad End" comics, it's a kind of continuation. I recommend you read that first before coming to this fic (definitely not an excuse to convince you to go read their comic, ooooh you want to read it so baaad)

Summary
White, feeling a mix of shock and glee, accepted Green’s hand and stood. “I don’t think I’ve met you before, but I’m, uh, new here. And still learning everyone’s faces. So don’t feel bad if we have met before and I don’t recognize you! It’s nothing against you.”
White smiles down at them, uncharacteristic excitement from the contact fading as they composed himself into their usual charming demeanor. Even then they couldn’t force their hand to drop away, waiting until Green had noticed and took it back with an apology.
“You’re perfectly fine.” White gives them a grin—the reassuring, radiant one that lets the intended person know everything would be okay. “We have met before, actually, but only once and only briefly. And I don’t think we actually talked. But let’s remedy that, okay? I’m White, and you’re Green, right?” White offered them a handshake.
Green stared down at it, blinking for a too-long moment, enough so that White of all people started to hesitate. Could you believe it? Them? Hesitate?
Or, A Rom-Com Adjacent fic in an Office Setting where White, a corporate executive, is trying to win the heart of Oblivious-Intern Green. They fumble but make it there eventually.

Summary
Poetry has always been a soothing painkiller, little words knitting together to form wonderful meanings. Even if Blue’s insignificant poems pale in comparison to the art form as a whole, it brings comfort. There’s a—forgive Blue for the pun—rhyme and reason, something for Blue’s mind to latch onto if work can’t do the trick.
But this? This constant want? A virus utterly ruining Blue beyond repair.

In canon, despite being a troublesome and incompetent fool, Green didn't kill Red too soon because they needed a smokescreen to distract Purple and everyone else.
But in the alternate timeline, simply because one moment of stupid, being at the wrong time and place, Red's fate took a different turn.

Edward Teach is a pop star about to embark on his latest tour when he develops vocal nodes. Stede Bonnet is the voice specialist who treats him. Sparks fly.
“Right. And could you please describe your singing voice to me? Or sing something you feel showcases your voice, if you feel comfortable. For my usual clientele, I’d suggest their go-to audition song, but I don’t get the sense that you do much auditioning.”
There’s a long pause during which Stede takes note of the guy’s eyes. Not a literal case note, that would be inappropriate. His eyes are large and brown and expressive, quicksand eyes. Eyes a person could get lost in. Right now, they’re slightly narrowed at Stede. He seems to decide something.
“Listen,” the client says. “I appreciate you not wanting to make it weird, but I promise I’m used to it.”
“Used to it?” Stede asks, and there go the eyes again. Stede has the oddest sense of being taken apart, exposed, like the recurring dream he has of walking through the halls of his secondary school without a single stitch of clothing on, down to the same vague, unsettling sense that it should be more awkward than it is.
