Summary
Leon woke up disoriented; his throat burned with coughs and limbs were heavy and aching. Where was he? Everything felt so damn foggy. His whole body felt like it was engulfed in flames. Why was every movement so fucking difficult?
After what felt like a rather herculean effort he opened his eyes, the light from the window making his aching head pound even more. But at least it made him realise he was just in his bed.
Another round of coughs tore through him, shooting a sharp pain into his entire chest. It almost felt like...

After showing up sick to work, and then promptly being thrown out by Hunnigan and told to not show up until he's okay again, Leon's fever spikes bad enough where he thinks he's once again infected with the plaga and tries to perform a little at-home surgery about it. Thankfully Hunnigan sent a trusted adult(Claire) to make sure he's actually resting.

She didn't get a chance to finish. With a precision that should've been impossible for a temporarily blinded man, he pulled his arm back and punched her in the throat.

At some point, Robert paused in the dark, looking around despite the fact that the level of light had not changed. No- but the wind had died down, and he realized with a frown that he could not hear anything of the forest any longer. There were no insects, no frogs or birds. It was so silent, he thought for a moment he could hear his own heartbeat.
The hair on Robert’s neck stood on end, his arms covered in goosebumps. He froze, looking around. If there was anything he knew, it was that this was the sign of a predator. When he turned, he thought he could see a shadow moving within the night.
But he found that he wasn’t afraid.
