Summary
Sometimes a family is two immortal, partly divine, partly eldritch war criminals, one former-technically-current psychopomp/goddess of death, and two biological weapon science experiments that may or may not have accidentally been made invincible- jury's still out on that one.
Sometimes a family is a theoretically immortal, not-yet-eldritch man, his semi-hemi-demi divine son whom he's mutually obsessed with, his not-quite-son-not-quite-not-a-son son who's tired of their bullshit, and a painfully introverted spider themed grandchild who is definitely not invincible.
And that's enough, because a family that truly loves each other is always enough.

Summary
First, Techno loses his home, torn away from his universe and into a new one without permission. This is fine, it's not, because he's used to losing things and he knows how to cope, poorly but he copes.
Then, Techno loses his house, occupied temporarily by someone's ill-timed heat. This is also fine, it's just three days. Techno has stayed awake for longer and it's not like he doesn't have plenty of chores to do in the meantime.
And then Techno loses his cool. He yells and cries, admitting to things that haven't seen the light of day in centuries out of some desperate attempt for all of it to mean something.
He nearly gives up.
But then he gets back everything that matters.

Summary
Phil knows his husband is gone from the moment he lays his eyes on the thing that took his place. That creature might claim to be Techno, is might look like him, but Phil knows his mate far too well. Maybe he reacts poorly to that information but... no... no, Phil acts perfectly given the situation.
And after learning Techno is an entire universe away from him? Well, Phil's learned from his centuries of living that nothing is truly impossible. He might not have heard of anyone crossing universes before, not on purpose, so he'll have to be the first.
He has to be. Phil *needs* to go home.

Summary
So the Egg's a thing. Techno knows about it, knows it's objectively a problem, and knows roughly where it probably is. One issue: It's in the Badlands, which is distinctly not Sanctuary territory and Techno has no excuse for going over there.
Until he is given the perfect excuse to go over there.
Sometimes, life just works out like that
