Summary
Jason sneers even though he’s trembling like a leaf. “What, Mister Jay couldn’t come down to torture me himself? He had to send a representative? Laaaame.”
The shadow takes a step closer, into the faint light of the overhead bulb.
The boy is shorter than Jason. He can’t be older than ten or eleven. It’s like looking at a mini Joker—green hair, white skin, and all. Like the creep and Harley fucking procreated, as if the world needed those two clowns multiplied.
“You’re just a kid,” Jason whispers. The boy grins like invisible fingers are pulling the corners of his mouth up for him. Jason’s stomach roils in response. “Are you…Are they keeping you here, too? How’d you get here?”
The kid doesn’t say a word. He just keeps smiling.

Summary
There’s something off about Peter Parker. Something none of Tony’s parenting research could have prepared him for.
(Or the spider bite gave Peter far more than super strength and the ability to stick to walls. This isn’t necessarily a good thing.)

Summary
"You're forgetting something, Mr. Stark."
"Oh?", Tony kept his tone chipper. "Enlighten me, kid. What am I forgetting?"
Red eyes seemed to glow under the shadow created by Peter's bangs, even as he smiled. Even then, the smile didn't look soft at all, not anymore. Just vicious. Predatory.
"I am not that weakling", Peter--no, the creature wearing his kid's body purrs. "I'm better."
During a mission, HYDRA managed to start another experiment on the organization's latest and most dangerous project right before the project is stopped. Peter Parker, otherwise known as Spider-Man, was inflicted by it while protecting a teammate of his.
This has consequences.

Summary
“I am Peter.”
“No,” Tony glared at him. “You’re really not.”
They stared at each other, Tony’s fists still in Peter’s shirt, until Peter’s grin started to grow. And grow.
And grow.
By the time it stopped, it was a swirl of black goo and sharp teeth, twisted and grotesque across Peter’s face.
“You’re right,” the thing said, in a voice that sounded like Peter’s vocal cords had been hacked up by a chainsaw. “I’m really not.” It’s eyes blinked, and the black spread, covering the rest of Peter’s face. “He is in here though. And oh, has he missed you.”
