The first thing Eoin feels is a consuming fear.
Like a sheep staring face to face with a wolf with its teeth all snarled out, waiting for the prey to flounder, show weakness. Anything. Anything that can give an indication that the thing can be destroyed.
Eoin knows this is a dream for what real world would have the sky warped in a blood red hue and thunder breaking through the heavens and scorching the Earth.
Eoin knows this is a dream by the way that crows and ravens emerge from the cracks in the earth in swarms, polluting the sky with their black plumage until the sun is swallowed whole by them.

Eoin was sprawled out in his bed, the duvet covering his bottom half and a stained vest adorning his top half. One arm was being used to prop Eoins head up while the other was curled around Paddy. Paddy whose face was all red from the crying beforehand, his hair and beard wild going in all directions. Paddy whose hand was protectively curled over his stomach which had began to bulge from the life growing in it.

Summary
The desert night was unforgiving by and cold, the kind of cold that crept in through every stitch and seam of the medical tent. For a place which rendered most of the men with blisters from the heat the irony was almost humours.
Inside, Augustine lay on a cot, bandaged and bruised, his skin pale under the flickering yellow light of a single kerosene lamp; he looked pale and sickly. His dark curls were plastered to his forehead with sweat and all other grime. He had the distinct, annoyed air of a man who hated being told to stay still.

Gojo was just in the middle of responding to something when he heard a voice from behind him, it was deep and velvety with a light musical tone to it, “Okay children, put your shoes on and head on outside.”
His entire body stiffened.
He gripped his phone with enough pressure that he felt it would break, and pressed his back into the side of the building, hiding instinctively.
Why was he here?
Finally Gojo’s eyes found their target: there he was, squatting in front of a crying child, comforting them. He looked bigger than before– of course he did, it’d been over 7 years. He wore his long black hair loose now, with a simple knot holding a few strands back. Gojo’s eyes ate up the sight of the man he hadn’t seen in years.

Summary
When he first started remembering, Suguru was disgusted with himself. The memories of his previous life came, but no cursed technique followed. Most people would have been happy at not having to see terrifying curses as a 6 year old, but by the time the memories of his previous teen-self returned, Suguru resented himself for not seeing them. He was a fucking monkey.
Then, randomly one day, as if fate were mocking him, he sees him at KFC. He doesn’t know what brought him here, the bitter memories souring his sad breakfast, but there Satoru is; shock of white hair, uncommon blue eyes, rounded back, feet dragging against the floor, clutching a bag of take out. Satoru, to be honest, has never looked worse
Suguru is frozen, but as Satoru turns around to walk away, he jumps out of the line, colliding with another customer, and runs after.
“S-Satoru!” He shouts hoarsely, “Satoru!”
