The world had turned to cotton candy and pop rocks and he was floating higher and higher, every strand of logic unraveling, making him spin. Spinning- His head was spinning as his thoughts rattled on and his heart was beating hard enough that he was sure the other could feel, with how close he was standing.

Summary
Rand had always been the fucked up sibling. Not only his brain, but his body had been failing him as well.
He didn't know which one of his parents he got it from, but if he wasn't enough of a failure already, he couldn't even breathe right.
Of course, he didn't know the words. Just that he would lose fights while desperately trying to suck in air, or always ended up hyperventilating when crying.
He just chalked it up to being out of shape.
