Batman was annoyed. He was pretty sure No Metahumans In Gotham was canon, but he'd never actually read a comic book so he couldn't prove it. All his information came from TikToks and tumblr posts. Was it possible he'd beaten a woman to a pulp based on poorly thought-out headcanons? Luckily, he had a fallback. "I'm the richest man in Gotham and that means it's my city and I decide how it operates."

Morgan’s not happy with letting him out in the field by himself, and so Spencer offers a solution: Derek can act as the client.

Now they know the Red Hood is the resurrected Jason Todd…wait why are they calling him Roy? What??? Confused, Jason looks up the guy they think he is and. Fuck. That’s his soulmark!
The Bats are trying to take down the Red Hood but after a fated encounter and some investigation, they have a new idea. Since he was Jason’s soulmate, maybe Hood isn’t all that bad and they can get him to join their side.

My sleep schedule is shit, and I drink coffee straight from the pot. I sing in the shower even though I’m deaf as fuck. I have arrows everywhere because I’m an archer — did I tell you that? And I was raised in a literal circus, so I’m not exactly domestic. Let’s see, what else?” He squints down at the ground, rubbing the back of his neck. “Oh, yeah, I won the building in a poker game with the Russian mafia and every once in awhile they show up and try to take it back, but usually I handle it, no problem. Uh...”
Clint happens to looks up and Bucky’s eyes are wide, his mouth hanging open. Clint’s hand freezes where he’s rubbing the back of his neck, suddenly embarrassed. Yeah, when you put it all out there at once, it doesn’t sound so good.

Bucky Barnes is back on US soil as a free man. But freedom is more than just physical. On top of that, Steve is desperate for him to be the man he was before. The only problem is; that man is long dead.
Peter Parker has been through the mill but he knows he just had to adapt, roll with the (many) punches and keep going. Spider-man is his safe place now, the one time he could truly feel like himself. Like he is making a difference. He'd make sure no one would suffer like he has, even if he has to track down the perpetrator himself.
