    (This story takes place after the ending of Sonic Prime)

    After saving the Prismverse together with Shadow, Sonic is more than convinced that their relationship will finally have the chance to improve and find some stability.
    But once they're safely back home, Shadow begins avoiding him, creating a distance between them that's just as great—if not greater—than it was before the Prismverse pulled them into its countless dimensions.
    At this point, a confrontation between the two seems inevitable: Sonic wants to understand why Shadow has pushed him away after everything they went through together.
    Shadow, on the other hand, doesn't seem willing to talk.
    Will they be able to find common ground?

    So, when it finds itself unable to stay dead, it doesn't feel the need to question it. Infinite deaths and infinite attempts mean that V1 has all the time it could ever need to explore the entirety of Hell.

    A time-loop fic based on how restarts and deaths function in-game. V1 is spontaneously brought back to their last checkpoint by Hell each time they die, trapping them in endless time loops that can only be broken through trial-and-error victories.
