    The plot of Sonic Prime never happened. There is no paradox prism and Nine never met Sonic. He spent another 10+ years holed up in his lab, isolated and alone into adulthood. That is until he was whisked away on an interplanetary adventure where he finally had his “Sonic” moment, but instead with Tails and Mangey. They had to part ways in the end- each going back to their respective worlds- but Mangey accidentally gets sucked into the New Yoke portal with Nine! Having grown up in the jungle with his close-knit family of scavengers, the city is no place for someone like Mangey. Will Nine be able to find a way to send him back home? And after a life of friendless isolation… Will Nine be able to let him go?

    Do you like Sonic and Nine fluff/angst? This is a bit like that, but with Mangey and Nine instead.

    Ever since the Clean Sweepstakes, Surge chases the adoration of the people, revelling at the idea of bathing in all the fame and stealing the received hero worship from Sonic. And if she gets to beat up the blue nuisance while she’s at it? That’s even better.

    Now if only most of her achievements weren’t based on lies.

    Kitsunami, her only companion, fabricated most of the perils and dangers so Surge could play hero. Angry and feeling betrayed, Surge lashes out, chasing the fennec away. Lost, alone and soon haunted by Dr. Starline, she crosses paths with none other than Shadow the Hedgehog on less than friendly terms. What Surge doesn’t realize, however, is that Shadow had once been in a similar position as her and knows what it’s like to have your mind altered, your past erased and voices whispering in your head.

    Shadow may seem aloof – but his guiding hand may just help Surge find her own path in life – without others manipulating and controlling her.
