Emmrich Dellamorte-Volkarin, Lucanis' husband, a loving father, and enthusiastic cat dad, does what he can to be supportive.
But things become a bit complicated when Lucanis takes his next job and Emmrich is both harassed by a colleague and starts looking into a theft at his university. And someone still needs to make dinner, pick up the kids from school, and take them to gymnastics and the dentist.

He could even afford to finally hire someone to help with the work load.
Building his perfect little life in Nevarra City hadn't been easy, but he loved the place he found himself in now; doing something he was passionate about, something that made him truly happy for the first time in decades.
He loved his new life, and he would fight tooth and nail to keep it, no matter who threatened it.
